PET SITTING is a great alternative to boarding! Each pet gets one-on-one attention and are taken care of the way YOU would like... while enjoying the comfort of their own home. Visits are usually 15-20 minutes long and can include playtime, meals, litter scooping/changing, and medicating if needed. Sits in Glens Falls are $12/visit. All others are $15/visit and up depending on distance and location.
PLAYTIME is great for breaking up the day for your dog while you are at work, getting your dog out for exercise, and for socialization. During these visits I would play with your dog(s), visit with them, and for some, bring another dog as a playmate. Playtime is $12/visit in Glens Falls, and $15+/visit elsewhere. Discount may be given for permanent Monday thru Friday clients.
WALKING is also a great way to get your dog the exercise it needs. Turn your Pet Sit or Playtime into a 15 minute walk for only $5 more, or $15 more for 30 minutes.
VISITS are conducted between 7:30 am and 9:30 pm. Because I serve a large area, traveling to and from appointments often takes up at least half of my working hours. To cut down on travel, I connect those near each other, which can cause my schedule to change from day to day depending on how I organize my stops. Therefore I need my clients' understanding that I do not do exact appointment times. I appreciate it when my clients can allow me at least a 2 hour block in which to fit their appointment(s). For an additional fee TBD on a case-by-case basis, I may offer sits outside of my regular hours. This is useful for clients that have a young puppy or an older dog.
NOTE: Longer visits should be scheduled for homes with more than 3 dogs, or dogs that are shy and need time to warm up to me before going out or getting leashed. At times I may also accept a "3 hour sit" for dogs that get especially lonely, or need to be crated while their family is away from home. Prices TBD. I do not accept stranger aggressive dogs. This includes dogs that lunge, snap, or bite at humans. Dogs that just bark or growl and have no history of biting are evaluated and accepted on a case-by-case basis.
